GUINOT
We choose to use Guinot for various body and facial treatments. Guinot is a French company based in Paris who use natural ingredients such as plant extracts and essential oils. The brand also uses amino acids, collagen and cell building properties to help improve the deeper tissue layers. This temporarily improves the appearance of fine lines, age spots, scarring and pigmentation. We have many 'hands on' and 'mechanical' facials which incorporate use of Guinot products including body treatments for relaxation, pregnancy and detox.
Hydradermie 'lift' is Guinot's latest non surgical facial. It uses micro and faradic currents to gently stimulate the facial muscles to firm and tighten them over time. Two treatments per week for 4 to 6 weeks is normally recommended, dependent upon lifestyle, age and skin condition. Maintenance is required monthly after the initial weekly treatments have taken place.
JAN MARINI
Jan Marini is used for several of our facials here at Amethyst Holistic Beauty Retreat, Gosport. This brand provides the salon with a completely different approach to treatments. It uses Glycolic Acid to strip away superficial layers of dead skin build up to aid in the renewal and reconstruction of new, brighter skin. All types of skin condition can be treated this way.
Again, courses of treatments are recommended for the best results. This product is also highly endorsed by our resident Harley Street trained nurse whose own treatments benefit highly from the home use of these products before and after treatment.
AROMATHERAPY ASSOCIATES
Aromatherapy Associates are our preferred product for all our aromatherapy facials and body massages. Our salon owner Lisa was trained by non-other than the founder, Geraldine Howard over 15 years ago.
The UK based company provides us with pre-blended oils which contain ten or more different essential oils to make the perfect remedy for any condition, whether it be emotional or physical.
We use Aromatherapy Associates products in a range of treatments including facials, massages and other body treatments for detox or even jet lag.
CACI (COMPUTER AIDED COSMETOLOGY INSTRUMENT)
CACI is the most publicised non-surgical treatment available to salons. Our CACI Quantum not only produces fantastic results for the face but it can also incorporate full body toning at the same time! Courses of 10-15 are available for facial treatments whilst courses of 10 are available for the body. We recommend that these courses are carried out at a rate of two sessions per week.
Chromaclear is another CACI machine operated at Amethyst Holistic Beauty Retreat. The machine uses a combination of vacuum massage, microdermabrasion, and phototherapy (red light) to produce clinically proven results. 10 to 30 treatments are recommended at a rate of one session per week dependent upon the condition being treated.
